About Clyde House

Clyde House, located at 182 Collins Street in Melbourne, is a nine-story building located at the 'Paris End' of Collins Street opposite the Regent Theatre and next to the Athenaeum Theatre.

In the 1940s the building was converted into offices. These included a lady’s rest lounge "My Lady's Rest Lounge".

Clyde house was recognized for its historical significance by being added into the National Trust of Victoria's Heritage Listing in 1970.

In 1998 four floors were added to create serviced apartments. In 2025 it entered its new chapter with the serviced apartments converting into private residences.
